Wallsend Guest House and Glamping Pods Wigton, Cumbria
Our glamping pods are situated in the village of Bowness-on-Solway at the western edge of the UNESCO World Heritage Hadrian's Wall and close to the Solway Firth. The design of the camping pods are such that they can be used all year round. They're all very well insulated with wraparound wooden cladding and electric heating for those cosy evenings. There is a good head height and plenty of light through the glazed French doors that open onto a decking area with table and chairs. The glamping pods are dog friendly excluding Whitemire which is pet free. All the Pods have available for hire a wood-fired hot tub.

Caravan site in the heart of the Lake District Caravan Club members can enjoy the Sykeside experience from the comfort of their own caravan. The site is open all the year round. The five hard standing sites, all with electric hook ups, are situated in a secluded area of the park but are close to the all the facilities and the Brotherswater Inn is only 200 yards away.

We're a new caravan and camping site and our facilities are tip top. The shower and toilet block has underfloor heating to take the chill off any cold Cumbrian mornings, and there's a pot wash for communal use – please do wander up and exchange ideas with other guests for a great walk, places worth visiting, or an excellent local pub. The farm is also home to a 1 and a half mile walking trail and an award-winning farm shop where you can stock up on foodie finds or enjoy a farmer's breakfast, lunchtime specials or a brew and a slice of something nice in the café. We also have a raw milk vending machine, which vends organic milk straight from the farm's herd. We hope you enjoy our small site in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside.

Beckses Caravan Park is a small family run caravan park. We are situated within the Lake District National Park, with easy access to the M6 Motorway (7 miles), Ullswater (4miles) and Keswick (11miles). Beckses is well placed to offer a quiet stay and touring caravan base, yet offering easy access to the popular local tourist attractions. There is a public bus route within 200m of the site, which runs to West Cumbria via Keswick through the summer. We offer touring caravan pitches, all with electric hook ups. Static caravan hire, Camping Pods and a camping field for tents. Beckses was opened in the early 1960's by founder John Teasdale, the site remains in the same family with the hope of retaining a small site feel and a warm Cumbrian welcome
